It’s Songkran time and from the 13th to the 15th of April, Koh Chang will erupt with New Year cheer to celebrate the traditional Thai New Year.

Klong Son Bay is one of the most beautiful beach spots on the whole of Koh Chang and is located on the northwest tip of Koh Chang. It is the home of our property development project. Klong Son is quite a deep bay, giving good protection from the prevailing winds and ensuring that, for the vast majority of the time, the waters are calm and clear.
Koh Chang has been a buzz over the last few days over the reported rescue of two killer whales from fishing nets. The story broke on 22nd March when official Thai news agency NNT reported that the whales were rescued by members of the Department of National Parks. The mammals were apparently trapped in fishing nets in Salakphet Bay in the south of the island and suffered injuries trying to escape.
White Sand Beach is the busiest tourist location on Koh Chang. The beach stretches for 2.5 kilometres, the majority of which is composed of fine white sand perfect for a tropical seaside holiday. White Sands is only a ten to fifteen minute drive from the ferry and is the first real indication that Koh Chang is a holiday island.

One of the most dramatic events in Koh Chang’s history was a naval engagement between the forces of the Royal Thai Navy and the Vichy French Navy during WWII.
